Canada Plays is a live, in-person event. While some content will be recorded and made accessible in the weeks following the event, live content will not be available on YouTube.
Canada Plays is Canada’s premiere tabletop game trade show and conference. It is an exclusive event offering attendees access to the hottest new games from the industry’s top publishers. But more than that, Canada Plays is a place where attendees can connect, learn, play, and foster relationships with major industry players.
Canada Plays offers attendees with an unmatched experience. They have access to a trade show featuring over 50 exhibitors, 20 live conferences and a variety of activities, like miniature painting workshops and contests, karaoke, photobooths, a speed puzzle contest, tournaments, tons of game play and more.

Canada Plays welcomes hundreds of retailers from across the country, and many publishers from around the world. In 2026, we hosted nearly 300 retailers, over 100 representatives from over 50 publishers, and 12 content creators.

Attendees of Canada Plays can expect to see and play the hottest new games from top publishers from around the world. There is also an embargo room, where retailers can get a sneak peek at some of the best upcoming titles the industry has to offer.

The 2027 edition Canada Plays will take place from April 12 – April 14.

Canada Plays is a trade only event and is not open to the general public. Attendees must be retailers with a registered business in Canada.
